Tap the Hijri date on the screen to move it by one day. At the start of a new Hijri year or month, wait about two days if it can't be adjusted yet.

Tawkit shows the Hijri and Gregorian dates together. The Hijri date can differ by one day from your country's announcement.

Good to know

• New Hijri year: the date can still show the past year for a short time. Don't worry: after about two days it corrects itself.
• Start of a new Hijri month: sometimes the exact day can't be set yet. Wait about two days, then try again.
