Make Tawkit start by itself when the device turns on

Set the TV box to open Tawkit at start-up (in its settings or launcher). Android 9 to 13 boxes work best; Amazon Fire TV doesn't allow it.
At a mosque, the screen must come back by itself after a power cut, without anyone touching the box.
On an Android TV box
The option depends on the box. Look in its settings for one of these:
- Auto-start / Boot app / Startup app: choose Tawkit.
- Launcher settings: some boxes let you set an app to open at start-up.
When Android asks Tawkit for a permission (for example "display over other apps"), allow it.
Why some boxes don't start the app
- Android 9 to 13 give the best results. Newer Android versions can block automatic start.
- Amazon Fire TV doesn't allow apps to start automatically: you must open Tawkit by hand after every restart. Avoid it for mosques.
Test it
Unplug the box, plug it back and wait: Tawkit should open alone. If not, ask a volunteer in your country who knows your model of box.
The clock after a power cut
If the box has no real-time clock, the time can be wrong after the cut: see fix the clock.
