Tawkit icon missing on the TV box home screen

Some TV launchers don't show apps installed from an APK. Open Tawkit from Settings → Apps, or create a shortcut with ATV Launcher (package net.tawkit).

Some Android TV launchers only show apps from the Play Store, so Tawkit is installed but you can't see its icon.

Open it anyway

Go to Settings → Apps, find Tawkit in the list and open it.

Create a shortcut

Create a home-screen shortcut with the ATV Launcher service (atvlauncher.trekgonewild.de), using:

• App name: Tawkit.net
• App package: net.tawkit
• PNG icon: https://www.tawkit.net/tawkit.png

For the future

Set Tawkit to start by itself: then nobody needs the icon.

The screen stays black

Wait a few seconds after opening the app. If it stays black, uninstall it and try the other APK file or the old version 9.61: see which APK.
